Camp Sunshine is a five week summer camp program for children in Wilson County with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The cost for Camp Sunshine is only $25 per week as The Arc of Wilson County wants camp to be affordable for as many families as possible!
The Arc of Wilson County has held a summer camp for children (3-21) with I/DD for many years. Typically, the camp is five weeks in the summer from 9 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday. Each year we hear from campers and their parents that they wish camp wasn't ending!
Daily activities include song time, arts and crafts, swimming, visiting The BB&T Noah's Arc Park, and lunch is provided daily. Daily attendance is usually between 70 and 80 campers and we are always looking for volunteers to help throughout camp.
2018 Camp Sunshine dates are:
June 18 - 29
July 9 - 27
