For the past several years, The Arc of Wilson County has hosted an Easter Egg Hunt for the Exceptional Children's Classrooms of Wilson County Schools.

This gives the students and staff an opportunity to have a little fun before they dismiss for Spring Break each year. The hunt is usually held the last day before schools break.

The Easter Egg Hunt is held in several different stages to allow each child an equal chance to hunt for as many eggs as possible. Groups are usually determined by grade and school.

Along with the Easter Egg Hunt, there are other activities for the schools as well including: kickball, egg races, parachute games, board games, soccer shootouts, and more.

Lunch for the students and staff is provided as well as cupcakes donated by The Wilson Police Department. We also have many officers from The Wilson Police Department present to help volunteer from putting eggs in the field, helping children find eggs, playing games, to serving food.

We would also like to give a special thanks to The SPOT for filling our eggs with candy and to The City of Wilson Parks and Recreation Department for allowing The Arc to use their facilities each year for The Easter Egg Hunt.
